First Annual 5K Walk

Over 24 service dogs and service dogs to-be participated in person in our virtual 5k on Sunday. People came from near and far to help us put on this event. Thank you for walking along side us in our first ever virtual 5k. There was chaos, there was fun, there were learning moments and there was lots and lots of love. To the recipients who walked with us and virtually, you amaze us endlessly with your perseverance, your determination and your heart. We are honored to be part of your story.

Puppy K

Puppies walked a puppy-K where they said Thank You by walking past our sponsor board with the names of the sponsors for each puppy. Each pup wore a special puppy-K bandana.

Upon completion, each pup did a giveaway, selecting one of their sponsors at random to receive their gift.

Event was held at the Kelsey Arboretum in Boxford, MA

Legion Riders 101 Service Dog Project Ride

Thank you American Legion Riders Chapter 101 for an amazing day yesterday!! We had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and teach about the Service Dog Project! We even got to meet the Bruins famous Boston Anthem Singer Todd Angilly, who graciously spent time meeting our dogs and learning about our mission! Also thank you to all of the recipients and their Service Dogs who came to support us. We feel so lucky to be surrounded by such an amazing community.

The market has become known for its wide variety of fresh food, unique local vendors, and live music! At the next event, visit the SDP table where dogs, trainers, staff, and volunteers will be available to answer questions and show you the SDP merchandise!

Parkinson's Moving Day, Concord NH

Moving Day is an inspiring and empowering annual fundraising walk event that unites people around the country living with Parkinson’s disease (PD), their care partners and loved ones to help beat PD. Moving Day is more than just a walk. It’s a celebration of movement – proven to help manage Parkinson’s symptoms.

Leading up to the event, participants and teams fundraise to help the Parkinson’s Foundation provide everything people with Parkinson’s need to live better — from lifesaving resources to delivering quality care to more than 196,700 people living with Parkinson’s to improving Parkinson’s treatments through research.
